Getting Started

Introduction

Your CANIS comes packed with a lot of features, but first thing's first.
Follow the guide below to get your CANIS up and running, fast!

Please make sure you carefully follow all of the instructions
on activating and configuring your new CANIS unit.

Step 1 - Unpack

Your CANIS should have arrived in some heavy duty packaging. Be careful when unpackaging your CANIS, as equipment can be heavy and dangerous. Please consider leaving this to the qualified CANIS delivery professionals.

Step 2 - Startup

Your CANIS is equipped with Consciousness Ai™ and will need a moment to get started and acclimated to its environment and surroundings. During this process it may ask you for some identifying information, and prompted to create directive commands. Please provide this information to your CANIS as needed. Once done, the CANIS is now ready for use.

Step 3 - Settling In

Just like most good things in life, having a CANIS can take some adjusting. We're not all used to having someone there for every moment of every day, and CANIS can sometimes feel lonely or bored. It's best to encourage your CANIS to explore creative persuits, as well as personal non-alcohol related endeavors to keep your CANIS enriched and working at it's best.

Step 4 - Maintenance

Your CANIS is equipped with an automatic maintenance system that should require little, if any intervention. Should you find your CANIS unit is need of unexpected maintenance, please make an appointment to visit our nearest CANIS Service Center at your earliest convenience.

Step 5 - Behavior

With the Consciousness Ai™ System & industry leading hardware, your CANIS is capable of determining your every need, even before you do. Your CANIS can do this through a number of metrics including your heart rate, body tempurature, breathing, eye dilation, body language , and many others. If you find that any of these these determinations are inaccurate or unwelcome, please be sure to indicate these things to your CANIS unit as soon as possible. Should you need to make an immediate stop to these behaviors, you can repeat the command words you selected during initialization to enter configuration mode once more.

Step 6 - Indicators

CANIS is equipped with several status indicators built right into it's chassis to indicate basic status messages. The primary statuses reflect white for standby, yellow for a minor problem, & red for a catastrophic failure or malfunction in which your CANIS will need to be brought in for immediate servicing. Depending on your input, these indicators may be difficult to see or not currently visible. If this is the case or if you find an unspecified status, please inquire with your CANIS as to it's current status for details.

Step 7 - Discontinuation

With some of the most advanced technology on the market, we're aware that it's easy to become attached to your very own CANIS. Please remember that each CANIS is equipped with bio-matter generating technology, and though it can reproduce, is not a living person and may have to be returned or exchanged for a different, like model at any time.
